About Jamie Derrick
Jamie Derrick has over 20 years of experience training, coaching, and working with organizations to improve employee performance and enhance HR programs. Currently, she teaches courses in management and HR management to undergraduate students in the Nelson Rusche College of Business at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas.
Jamie graduated from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas with a Bachelor in Business Administration, majoring in Human Resource Management. She later earned her MBA, with honors, from the University of Mississippi. She maintains SPHR and SHRM-SCP certifications and regularly serves as a subject matter expert for the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
Jamie considers her life’s mission to “help others become more than they believe they can be” and loves supporting individuals, small groups, and businesses as they work through the various opportunities and challenges that come their way.
While Jamie is located in Deep East Texas, she works with organizations across the continental US. Most consultations are conducted virtually, but she does travel for on-site trainings, presentations, and research.
